"StormMQ transforms the way in which IT departments implement complex message queuing systems. Traditionally this has been a costly capital expenditure process that also requires a lot of on going support and maintenance. Now through StormMQ and the AMQP open standard, such message queue systems can be delivered as a pay as you go managed service providing exceptional cost savings and instant quality service."
Through many man years of experience by the StormMQ founders, a platform has been built from the ground up that allows this whole complex environment to be delivered as a commoditised service; where like a utility, you can turn the tap on or off to gain variable amounts of secure messaging capability in return for a monthly fee.
This managed service is the first truly enterprise offering on the market that provides a solution for most computer environments with every level of security possible. Using StormMQ does not mean a company is tied in as the solution is provided to the recognised AMQP standard so that a company can walk away at any time. This type of Managed Service is delivered through what is often referred to as ‘Cloud Computing’ a concept that has arrived and is accepted as the way computing power should now be delivered.

Most recently he was at BT (2007-2009) where he managed the redevelopment and delivery of NEO, a system to orchestrate the fulfilment of complex orders for broadband, telephone lines and networking. The system could not process 100 orders / day and it took a month to deploy. Raph’s team delivered a working, nonstop system which was robust and simple. It handled 1500 orders /second, and deployed in under 10 minutes to 40 servers. |
